Registration is just around the corner for the HTPC 2018 Women’s Retreat, November 2-3, 2018, and we’re hoping you’ll join us. This gathering is a wonderful opportunity to rest, learn, pray, and build new relationships with the women of our church. Would you be willing to let us know if you’re planning to attend?
Please let us know by August 27th if you HOPE to attend. If you are interested in providing a scholarship for another woman to attend, or if you might be applying for scholarship funds, that would also be very helpful information to the Retreat Planning Committee.
The focus of our retreat will be fear and anxiety: “Trusting the God Who Is, Rather Than the God We Imagine,” with Lydia Brownback as our retreat speaker. Lydia, author of several books and speaker at women’s events internationally, is passionate about promoting biblical doctrine with a high view of God. Lydia works on the editorial team at Crossway Books, and before that she served as writer-in-residence for Alistair Begg and as producer of The Bible Study Hour radio program with James Montgomery Boice. Our Women’s Bible Study this fall will use her book “Knowing the Bible – Hosea.”
The retreat will be held at the Dayspring Episcopal Conference Center in Parrish, FL, approximately 45 minutes from Holy Trinity Presbyterian Church. The $90 cost of the retreat will cover an overnight stay in a semi-private room, 3 meals, and all activities. If you would like to invite others, the retreat is geared toward women ages 18 and older.
